How do I register for a CLEP or DANTES test?
Generally, you register for a CLEP or DANTES at the University or College you
attend or plan on attending. Sometimes, this is not possible so you
will need to take your CLEP / DANTES test at an Open Testing Center. An Open
Testing Center is a school that allows anyone to take CLEP / DANTES tests there,
even if you are not a student.
Usually, these centers involve a fee
above the regular testing fee. Sometimes, the CLEP Test Center will
charge you an appointment fee in addition to a testing fee. If you don’t
show up for the test, they keep the appointment fee. The average school
testing fee is about $15 above and beyond the test fee.

schedule tests. At most University of Phoenix campuses, appointments
can be made in relatively short notice (a few days) while other campuses
require you to make an appointment a few weeks in advance.
