Humanities CLEP Test Description
The Humanities CLEP test is another great CLEP test to take. If you like to read, have seen a lot of theater or taken any art classes, this test
will be a piece of cake. You will be required to identify several types
of art, styles, writers, and composers. If you do not have a background
in this area, don’t worry. All you’ll need is a few hours
of memorization. This is a test with a broad range of questions regarding
art, music, theater, literature, poetry, film, dance, etc.
It is important to understand that you do not have to answer each and
every question correct to get a passing score. You need to get 50 of 140
correct (at most schools) to pass. The people the write the CLEP tests want
you to know about half of the information to get a passing score.
A majority of the test includes knowing who wrote/composed/created what.
For example, Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables.
You will need to be able to identify styles and their time periods, match
the composer with their work, understand and interpret literature and
poetry, and recognize famous art. Over 50% of this CLEP examination is
covered by memorizing a creator with their work. Because this subject
area is so broad, we will tell you what to study so you are successful. |

Well, I took my Clep Exam Today over the Humanitities, and i'm pleased to inform you that I passed with a 68 on the exam and received full credit for it. Those 6 Credits saved me a lot of time. For starters, I am now an offical college graduate thanks to you! I first discovered your site a few months back when I first made the decision to take the Sociology Clep exam, and boy did it pay off! Not only did I pass that test with flying colors, it instilled even more confidence in me to use your wonderful guide to prepare for the Humanities Clep exam. Let me tell you, I studied very long and hard, and even used other outside resources. At least 50% of the exam covered all of the material that you supplied me with and I passed with a 63. I am so excited about sharing my success with you guys. I am the biggest skeptic when it comes "to things that seem too good to be true". I passed my Humanities CLEP test after studying for a week. I followed the websites given to view certain materials, and used the flash cards. When the first few questions popped up on the test screen to take the Humanities CLEP, I was floored.....too easy. I am no genuis, but if I can do it, you can too. Make the small investment, and save on time and tuition to achieve your academic objective. Had I known about this earlier, who knows? I needed this class to graduate early to start my master's program at a nearby university. I will hold on to this book as a keepsake! Thanks! -Jane

I have taken, the Humanities test score 59, Drug and Alcohol Abuse score 55, and Heres to your Health score 68. Currently I am studying for Intro to Computing. I still have two more to finish before I after my current one but really liked your study guides.. they were very helpful and I will definately recommend them to others.

Thanks so much for the helpful study guide. I didn't put a ton of time into studying, but skimmed the suggested readings and brushed up on analyzing passages. I passed the test on the first try! Because my major is nursing, this study guide changed my thinking back to a humanities oriented process.
