Western Civilization II CLEP Test Description
The Western Civilization II CLEP test covers the information that is taught
in the second semester of a two-semester introductory course at the college
level in Western Civilization.
You will be tested on the years 1648 to the Present. You will need to
know the first and second world wars, the industrial revolution, the French
Revolution and other weighty historical events. You will learn and know
the impacts of war on countries and their economies. You will also be
required to read, analyze and interpret information in a map or table.
It is important to understand that you do not have to answer each and
every question correct to get a passing score. You need to get 50 of 100
correct (in most cases) to pass. The people the write the CLEP tests want
you to know about half of the information to get a passing score.
